It has been a while between drinks and it will be a while until the next as I am about to head off to Italy and Austria for the next month… (hah!)

But before I leave, I have to point out to those not on the Stockholm Library mailing list that the entries for the competition to extend Asplund’s masterpiece are in.

Now, I am not one hundred percent sure what the deal was, but there must have been some requirement for a motto or catchphrase to accompany each entry. And as a result of either poor translation or late-night-motto-creating, among the hundreds of entries there are several glittering gems.
