The Shaping Space exhibition opened last night at the Tin Sheds Gallery. It is a fantastic exhibition, elegantly curated and presented; one long table with sketches under a layer of inch thick perspex and one wall of photos of Seidlers buildings as photographed and printed by Max Dupain. There are some images up on my flickr page.

I finally got around to watching Steamboy - Katsuhiro Otomo’s followup to Akira. Mixed reviews had me not expecting too much out of it but I was more than pleasantly surprised. Sure, the second half of the film does drag on - but it drags on with such style and invention that it is difficult to fault it for it.
